My Return to Kolfe Slideshow #1

As a gift for my birthday, my daughter Melissa prepared this slide show for me.

These photos depict my visits to Kolfe along with Solomon's new home with the Tesfaye family. More slide shows to follow, so stay tuned.

While you are at it, check out Cousin Georgie's blog and slide show of our trip to Ethiopia.

Ah, tears! Especially since reading what you've written about your trip. Solomon looked so happy in all of the pictures. Such a good looking young man! The pictures of you with the toddlers...we are hoping to pass court on Oct. 5th to bring home our Baby A. Those pictures just make me want him home so soon!

Oh Eileen, I have to go back and catch up on your blog in detail. I haven't followed along in a while, and this most recent trip to Solomon and the impact you've made on his life is taking my breath away. I have a boy I've been corresponding with at Kolfe who just last week emailed me, "my sweet mom." I can only imagine he's choosing me to be his mom after watching Solomon's relationship with you. I'd love to connect with you further on how you've been involved in Solomon's life. I'm going to reach out to Gladney too, as we want to be able to support Habtamu in much the same way. I'd love to email off line with you... careygrange@gmail.com. Much love to all of you!

We met Solomon while we visited Kolfe a couple days before graduation. I'll have to send you pics. My son, Eyob, enjoyed the slideshow-he recognized Belaye, Travis, and his daughter. We used the same song, when love takes you in, for our video introducing Eyob to our friends at church! Dana L.
