Well, just as I suspected, CIS has also rejected my fingerprints due to the fact that they are not legible. They have rescheduled me for June 8, 2007 for a mandatory appointment to do them again. Since I haven't grown any new fingerprints I'm sure they will be rejected again. But, off we will go and drive another 6 hours for a 15 minute appointment. Nothing else new for now. Stay tuned.....

We will be praying things work out this time around...either way it's amazing knowing God is orchestrating all these things for our good, his glory and the good of our little ones in Ethiopia!! Maybe God is giving you speedbumps so you'll slow down and we can travel at the same time ;o) I have to tell myself these same encouragements because I emailed CIS to see how things were going regarding giving us a fingerprinting appt and they said that they can't guarantee an appointment for June but at the latest July!! I was discouraged but I know that God is wise and will get us through every stpe in his timing...pray for us...hopefully it will be June and not July. When was your offical date that you filed? We filed April 18th. Talk to you guys soon, love you!
Do NOT be discouraged! You just know that later on down the road, you will look back at this delay and see it all as part of God's perfect timing and plan! And there's probably even another "God appointment" waiting in Charlotte!
